Qetaifan Projects First Annual Ceremony 2018
Doha, Qatar – April 7th, 2019 – Qetaifan Projects Company held the 2018 annual ceremony for its employees on Thursday 28th of March 2019 at Sheraton Hotel. The ceremony was honoring the employees who completed a full year in the company, in addition to honoring the employee of the year 2018.
The ceremony was attended by H.E Sheikh Nasser Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani – Managing Director of Qetaifan Projects, during which he explained how Qetaifan Island North project serves Qatar’s national vision 2030 and the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022. His Excellency also confirmed that despite all the challenges the company faced during its first year, Qetaifan Projects has formed local partnerships with Qatar Tourism Authority, beIN Media Group, and the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. As well as signed MOUs with Rixos International Hotels; entering the Qatari market for the first time to manage and operate the hotel, beach club and water park on the island. In addition to signing 17 MOUs to support tourism, in partnership with Katara Hospitality, Qatar Airways and Qatar Tourism Authority, together with a number of major tour operators. His Excellency ended his speech by thanking everyone for their continuous efforts to achieve the company’s vision and to transform this project into a reality, emphasizing on Qetaifan Projects’ commitment to the highest standards of quality and the finest service worthy of our beloved country.
The ceremony was also attended by VIP guests including Mr. Nasser Al Mawlawi – Technical Advisor at Emiri Diwan, Mr. Jassem Al Ansari – Office Director of the Deputy Governor in the Central Bank, Mr. Mohammed Al Meer – CEO of Katara Projects, and Mr. Hamad Al Kubaisi – Qetaifan Projects Board Member. In addition to Qetaifan Projects Chiefs; Mr. Mohamed ElGarhy – Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Hesham Sharaf – Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Jean Antonios – Chief Legal Officer, and Qetaifan Projects employees together with their families.
Mr. Karam Ahmad – Senior Project Management Officer, Mr. Hazem Hafez – Design Manager, Ms. Amal Turki – Senior Human Resources Officer, and Ms. Nadine Selim – Admin Officer, were all honored for their excellent performance during the year 2018. As well as Mr. Mokhtar Ali – Public Relation Officer, Ms. Jasmeet Bhamra – Assistant Manager of Accounting, and Mr. Basel Ayed – Marketing Officer, who were also honored for their very good performance.
Mr. Karam Ahmed received the Employee of the Year 2018 Award after achieving the highest number of votes from Qetaifan Projects employees.
To further support its employees, the company’s management honored Mr. Ashraf Abdel Halim – Head of Marketing, and Ms. Nermeen Abdel Aziz – Assistant Manager – Business Analysis for their efforts and contributions in less than a year in Qetaifan Projects.
It is worth mentioning that this is the first ceremony of Qetaifan Projects; the company founded in 2017, an owner and developer of Qetaifan Island North in Lusail city.
